Lexus IS300

Lexus has long been trying to draw the perfect line between luxury and affordability. They finally nailed it with the IS300 being right in the middle. Lexus will be retiring the IS250 and its low-power V6 engine. In steps the IS300, which will be a 2.5L V6 with 255 HP which is a big jump from earlier models. The previous IS250 was barely over 210 HP. As an all wheel drive vehicle, it gets decent combined gas mileage, totaling around 21.8 MPG. For around $40,000 this awesome vehicle can be yours.

One might worry that with all that power, AWD, and its six speed automatic transmission that ride might not always be that smooth. This fear is definitely unfounded, as it switches gears perfectly smoothly. The cabin noise is minimal, which is a big factor in the luxury sedan market. It handles really well for a luxury sedan. It has sporty elements, but is mainly perfect for your daily driving needs.

While the exterior is beautiful and the engine roars powerfully, what makes this a luxury sedan is the beautiful interior. With a leather trimmed interior that uses real wood trim and front heated seats as well as great ventilation for long car trips, the IS300 simply outperforms most other entry level luxury sedans for other brands such as Mercedes-Benz and Infiniti. Not only equipped with heated seats, the IS300 also has a heated steering wheel and a memory function that will remember both the positioning of your seat and your steering column. Now no one can ruin your comfort. The dashboard and arm rests are masterfully comforted with super soft but firm materials. The rear seats have plenty of room for three full size adults.
